This option assumes you have a US Vector and have scuff plates (sill plates) next to the seat that are just black plastic, where your friends with Arc & Aeros have a silver metal plate with "SAAB Aero" engraved in it.  Yours should have "SAAB Vector".  This discussion is for the US only.  I think everywhere else in the world has plates that say "Vector".

In 2003, there were 3 trim styles: Linear, Arc & Vector. However, rumor has it that Saab had to stop using the "Vector" name in the US due to trademark infringement from an actual existing car called the Vector M12. Who knew?

Anyway, the only marking on the vehicle was the silver plate of the door sill.  But after the 2004 model year, Saab called it the Aero. If you can still get them, here are some part numbers:
