This option assumes you have an ashtray in the spot pictured to the left, and you would like a stylish storage tray instead.  It features a rubber mat that matches the existing rubber mat patterns, and a 12V outlet, which glows softly green.  It offers more room for the lower compartment as well.

When you order the tray, it may already come with the rubber mat.  Best to ask first.

 

Installation instructions: Open the ashtray. You will see a little tab on the left side. With a screwdriver, gently lift the tab. Pull the left side of the ashtray out. Then twist the ashtray to the right to release the other clip. Pull the unit out. The shelf just slides right in.
