This option is for wood trim in your car. The
traditional interior for a level with wood is the Arc.
But in most cases, it has wood door strips and a wood
shifter plate, and that's all. If you really like
wood, you can add a steering wheel & shifter knob (see
pictures to the left). Use the chart below to pick
and choose what wood items you want. Together with
the other interior pages, you can customize look if your
unique interior by mixing & matching different trims.
Perhaps you already have black
plastic trim or metal trim.
In addition
to this, there are 2 different types of Poplar wood
trim. It was changed for the 2004 model year.
Reports are mixed on exactly what the difference is, and
the end result is that different people have different
tastes, so one is not better than the other.
Poplar
2003 has a more matte finish than the 2004 Poplar.
May contain real wood veneer instead of 100% plastic.
Grain is more apparent. An example is the top
picture.
Poplar
2004+ is darker & glossier than the 2003 Poplar.
Also it may be wood-colored plastic instead of real wood
veneer. An example is the middle picture.
Sedan & Convertible note: Aside from the
convertible having no door strips, all other components
are interchangeable.

Steering Wheel & Steering Wheel Controls: Please take your vehicle to the
dealer to have this option changed. It involves
removing the driver airbag, and even if you could do it,
the dealer would have to add it to the computer system.
