Disabling the headlight washer system:
Pull the #15 (30amp) fuse & the R14 relay located in the
engine bay fuse box. They controls the headlight washer
fluid pump (there is a separate fuse & relay for the
main windshield pump, so it's operation should not be
affected). If you want to get more in depth, you can
remove all the equipment. To complete the
deinstallation, you will need a new bumper trim piece
without the holes for the washer jets.

This option is the high-pressure washer jets for the
headlights. In 2003 & 4, they came as part of a package
& could be had on almost any model regardless if you had
halogen or bi-xenon headlights. Starting in 2005, the
washers only come with the bi-xenon lights.
However, you
now can add this innovative feature to your car,
regardless of model. There is nothing preventing any
model car from having this option. While there MAY be a
Tech2 change required, the rest is just parts.
There may be a wiring harness required. Best to
look and see if there is an extra plug waiting to be
plugged into another washer fluid pump.
Operation:
Headlight
washing is activated when the control stalk is pulled
forward & held for more than 0.6 seconds. The ignition &
headlights must be on, and the vehicle speed is less
than 125mph. The wash period is defaulted to 1.3
seconds. It will not begin again unless a default of 2
minutes have past, or if the switch is activated a
default of 5 times. If the washer fluid level is low,
the system will not activate.
Typically found in USA, Great Britain, Canada,
Australia, The Netherlands.
