General Information

This webpage is designed to be a resource for those trying to change the stock bulbs in your 9-3SS. The manual is fine for most users, but if you want to know more because there are various bulb conventions, this is the place to be! You should be able to use this to identify bulbs that will fit.  There are 24 pages here that cover every light bulb (not display LEDs, sorry!) in the car.

If you have additional identifying info that you found useful, please send it to me and I will update the site!

Features: Fitment Instructions from the Manual.  Copied verbatim

Navigating: There is a navigation bar at the bottom of each page that will go to any other page in this Guide, or back to this page (Home).

Improvement: If you find any info in here that is (gasp) incorrect, or should be added, or have stories or better ways of doing things, please share your experiences so the rest of the world may benefit.  Credit is always given where credit is due.

Disclaimer: I replaced most of the bulbs in this Guide, so I am a reasonably experienced authority on the whole shmere.  But I don't know it all, in fact far from it.  I don't pretend to understand all the ways the car works, so many of the bulbs I've changed may in fact be bad news down the line.  So use your own judgment when making these mods.  Also, please check with local laws to ensure you are replacing a bulb with one that complies with state laws. For instance, many states require the side markers to be yellow.  Don't blame me if you got collared by the fuzz cause an electrical fire started while cruising down the Boulevard & you can't put it out.
